Excellent welding performance
A start switch can be installed on the DC arc welding machines. It achieves both safety and energy saving performance.
Equipped with the latest inverter control circuit. It reduces power consumption compared to conventional AC arc welding machines, meeting the recent energy-saving needs.
The main units can be stacked, ensuring secure transportation and storage. It also supports extension cables with a total length of up to 100 m, making it versatile for use in various situations.
High safety performance is achieved even during standby before starting welding
The DS2 series inherits the electric shock prevention function, electric shock prevention inspection function, and output terminal cover from the DS1 series. Combined with the new optional start switch, standby power is output after the switch is turned on, and the output automatically comes to a complete stop after welding is completed. This ensures safety and significantly reduces standby power.
Energy saving performance that saves electricity during welding and standby
Equipped with the latest inverter control circuit. It reduces power consumption compared to conventional AC welding machines (by approximately 27%). The energy-saving circuit also operates during standby, enabling further power saving. This will reduce users' electricity bill and CO2 emissions.
Excellent welding performance
Soft arc characteristics with reduced spatter have been achieved. Arc characteristics can be changed as desired.
Supports extension cables with a total length of up to 100 m
Even if the total length of the extension cables is 100 m, there is minimal drop in the welding current, thereby achieving consistently stable welding.
* If the total extension length of the output cables exceeds 50 m, then use a cable with a section area of 600 mm2 or more for 250DS2 / 300DS2, and 80 mm2 or more for 500DS2.
The start switch improves energy saving performance and safety over DS1
